Thanks to Capt. Louie Dabdoub and Lt. Julie Lea

November 1 2014 | Whats New

The leadership of the FOP Crescent City Lodge is always looking for ways to help the men and women of the New Orleans Police Department.  Thanks to Capt. Louis Dabdoub (Ret.) and Lt. Julie Lea, the FOP was able to provide prep classes for the recent Civil Service promotional examination for Police Sergeant and the upcoming Civil Service promotional examination for Police Lieutenant.

Capt. Dabdoub and Lt. Lea have been ideal partners for the FOP in this regard.  We know that 27 of the 33 officers promoted to sergeant took part in the prep classes for the sergeants exam.  90 sergeants are signed up to take the lieutenants test and we expect to see a similar number of prep class attendees promoted to Police Lieutenant.

We also would like to take this opportunity to thank Rick Carter of the Civil Service Department for speaking to the group and answering at least some of the questions posed.

GOOD LUCK to everyone taking the lieutenants exam on November 15!
