FOP MEETING REMINDER - TUESDAY, JUNE 10, 2014

The next monthly meeting of the Fraternal Order of Police, Crescent City
Lodge, will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. The meeting will be held
at the Lakeview Presbyterian Church meeting hall, located at 5914 Canal
Blvd., one block lake-bound from the I-610 / Canal Blvd., exit in New
Orleans.

Entrance and parking is available in the rear parking lot at Brooks and
Louis XIV streets.

Dinner will be served at 6:30pm, and the meeting will start at 7:00pm.

Chef John Schluter will be serving Pork Chops Chalmette Style.

VERY IMPORTANT - Secretary-Treasurer Jim Gallagher will attempt to provide
information regarding the ADP payroll system and the problems experienced
by members. Any member who would like to have his/her pay stub reviewed is
urged to bring a copy to the meeting.

DO NOT BELIEVE RUMORS, GOSSIP AND RANTS…

VERY IMPORTANT - FOP Attorneys Claude Schlesinger and Ted Alpaugh will be
on hand to present important information concerning the settlement of our
education overtime suit. The deadline for filing OPT-IN forms has been
extended to June 30, 2014.

VERY IMPORTANT - FOP Attorney Donovan Livaccari we will provide an update
on Mayor Landrieu’s proposed Civil Service Reform package. We have met on
several occasions with the administration on this topic – and there is
another Civil Service hearing scheduled.

There are still openings for delegate positions for the State Conference.
We will once again be accepting delegate registration forms.

We urge all interested members to attend.
